Lei Muk Shue Estate (Chinese: 梨木樹邨) is a public housing estate in Lei Muk Shue, Kwai Chung, New Territories, Hong Kong, near the exit of Shing Mun Tunnel. It is the largest public housing estate in Tsuen Wan District with the maximum population of 37,000.[1] Although it is geographically located in Kwai Chung, it administratively belongs to Tsuen Wan District[2] instead of Kwai Tsing District because it is at the west of Wo Yi Hop Road, the boundary between the two districts.
Lei Muk Shue Estate was built in 1970s and 17 buildings were built.[3] It started redevelopment in 1990s. 8 old buildings were demolished, and 10 new buildings and a shopping centre were built between 1998 and 2005.[4][5]
